Sharing one funny story

I was having coffee with my laptop in the cafe within the hotel, then two foreigners came in and asked for check-in; the hotel owner offered them tea while waiting, and then the foreigners found out that they had gone to the wrong hotel, so they asked where the hotel they actually booked, completely clueless... Then the hotel owner even offered to guild them, also suggested them to enjoy the tea before leaving ( on the house ) but they were so rush about leaving, I feel they were quite rude, not to mentioned that they were the one who made the mistake, but then I also understood how those two foreigners felt, they must have been living a long time in big cities and afraid of scams...

And now I see why people are extra nice to me because at least I'm trying to learn the language and adapt to the local culture,e.g. you shouldn't say no when ppl kindly offer you tea...

Refusing a cup of tea is really rude and show no respect. Especially when is from somebody that is willing to help you.

I would cancel my stay in the booked hotel and tale the room to the one offering me a cup of tea, just by making that mistake.

I would have enjoyed the tea and stayed there after that show of good-will. I just wonder what people are thinking when they act like this. When I was an expat, I always tried to learn at least some of the local languages. I know I screwed up a lot, but people were really willing to smile, chuckle and let it go. They would even try to help me out by correcting me.

The only time this did not work well was when there were two local languages and they were trying to teach me both at once, which was super confusing until I asked them to try teaching me only one. I got the impression my friends thought that was sort of retarded!

All custodial accounts will suffer from liquidity drainage. Always.

I also think it's a liquidity issue but I don't think it's inherent to custodial services. Deposits and withdrawals shouldn't be as out of balance as he suggests. I never heard of such problems with WoS and we also did not have liquidity issues ever afaik.

You can't. I only mentioned WoS to clarify that liquidity issues are unrelated to it being custodial or not. You can absolutely have a good custodial node, just see all exchanges that run lightning nodes or as mentioned, us or WoS. It's a skill issue imo.

a right is anything that is not a wrong, i.e. does no harm or theft. people talk about rights, but those are too infinite to list. furthermore, there is usually no substance to a right. a theft or harm is very real and felt by the victim without question.
