No, it's a good choice and it's not like we talked about a lot.
Ok. So it's all fine, we aren't at clash anymore. ;)
Will Europe adopt Gold standard ever again? Do you believe it?

No no, this won't happen. We're still in our phase of exoansion. Last victim of the ECB has been Croatia. In case of a systemic collapse the Europeans will return to their own fiat faster as You can blink. They need the printer to cover their defaults

What about ECB imposing sanctions when they tear it apart. I mean who's running ECB? Does ECB know who's the boss? It's a worst experiment in economic history of Europe.

The bosses are keynesian globalists, France is running the show. Worst possible combo. There will be fireworks in the end when, let's say, Italy (my candidate no. 1), will leave, tearing down Target 2 with a default just to send german banks and insurers to hell

Thanks! I thought it was Germany who built it.
I'd love those fireworks even though I don't like to play with them on Diwali.

No, that seems very unlikely. Maybe @TomK can elaborate.
My guess is that Europe will first revert back to separate national fiats, then dollarize when that fails, before ultimately bitcoinizing.

I've talked with him a lot of times. You, he and seem to me on the same page. I also believe that the day of ECB are almost over and it's been definitely getting daily threats from countries to detach their faith from it. We'll listen something big very soon.

I think watching the decay of the ECB and the europ banking system will teach us some interesting lessons. Of course You could have read Mises or Rothbard to come to the same conclusion. But who's reading books these days....

You're right. The Dumb are following the Dumb. There wasn't any need for ECB imo but they did it and everyone followed. Crazy times!
