Can we give 9 a grade of F already? Notes: “that’s not how this works”

I'm not sure I understand. Has he already taken office? I'm not putting any expectations on him.

How would it be possible to “mine all remaining bitcoin in the USA”? What could possibly be done to prevent any person or entity outside of the USA from mining a single block? It’s just a clear misunderstanding of how bitcoin mining works, and nothing will make that statement achievable. I guess maybe a credible threat of nuclear attack against any location detected to be mining bitcoin outside of the US. Even then, that would not be ‘good for Bitcoin’.

Now I understand your comment. Yes, it's impossible to make that statement (9). Basic mistake!

GOP Platform: Crypto
"Republicans will end Democrats' unlawful and unAmerican Crypto crackdown and oppose the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency. We will defend the right to mine Bitcoin, and ensure every American has the right to self-custody of their Digital Assets, and transact free from Government Surveillance and Control."
THE LAST PART IS THE MOST IMPORTANT, AND TRUMP DIDN'T SAY IT. "TRANSACT FREE FROM GOVERNMENT SURVEILLANCE AND CONTROL."

I'd say freeing Ross is the simplest and most moral action.
I don't care about Gensler, but I think he'll leave.
I do think he'll prevent a CBDC, or it'll just be delayed 4+ years for other reasons.
Most of these I just don't care, and Bitcoin doesn't either.
Mining and stockpiling need to be done by all countries, otherwise the countries that don't do it will just ban, regulate, and tax it.
Oh and the United States already is the crypto capital of the planet.

You could change 9 to something like: Encourage/support the mining industry to maximize the amount of bitcoin mined in the USA. Not exactly what he said of course, but this all he can possibly do.

Yeah, I know #9 is crazy/impossible (and we don't want that sort of decentralization to one nation anyway), but that's what was said. I think his grade will have to be based on his support toward US miners (as you say).

Good to remember this stuff to hold him to account. Wouldn't count on it. Hopefully Ross will get out.

Right, plus, I didn't even know about the remind thing in SN. Trump gets inaugurated Jan 20 (73 days from now). @remindme in 73 days

If he even did half of those things if be impressed. I think at best he may do one or two of them, time will tell I guess.

it would be impressive for any politician to fulfill half of the promises.

The first couple are fairly yes or no, straightforward (but not entirely binary). The lower half or two thirds are nuanced things, rather subjective. We'll see how it goes.
