I think so. The rice kinda ‘neutralises’ the saltiness of the spam. That was the best dish I tucked into in Okinawa - even more memorable than Okinawa soba
I am going to have to try it at home. I will just not add salt to the rice when I make onigiri. I have always been a fan of the tuna one.
Tuna? Is that canned tuna or fresh tuna? I personally like katsuobushi in the onigiri.
Whichever the one is from 7-11. Im pretty sure they use canned tuna, but it is very good.

Really? Okinawa soba is very tasty. I’ve had it a couple of times. I have never heard of spam onigiri, though. Is it a new thing? Is it only in the convenience stores?
I always thought spam was too salty. Is it good in onigiri?
