As much as I hope Sen. Warren loses her reelection bid I’m not sure that will happen. She seems to really be confused between BTC and crypto as her opponent is a huge BTC fan as seen by his response in the debate
Deaton, a vocal supporter of Bitcoin, shared a personal story about how crypto offered a lifeline to unbanked individuals, including his mother, who struggled with predatory banking fees.
“When Bitcoin came along, I thought of my mom, who couldn’t maintain a bank account due to fees. Bitcoin offered a way to cut out the predatory banks and middlemen,” Deaton explained.
His law firm after all has worked to clarify the often confusion legal landscape of the space!
While I don't think Warren is unbeatable, I do think she's unbeatable this year. She's up by over twenty points, and any real opposition needs to start years, not months, before the election. Warren's own career's an example -- she was in the public eye from her work in the Obama administration, and announced her challenge to Scott Brown (a Republican who'd won an election to replace Ted Kennedy, of all folks) a year ahead of time. Deaton needed to up his profile long before he got into the race to really have had a chance.
(And as @grayruby notes, he's scamming hard on the shitcoins; as with Trump, any BTC benefit would be incidental.)

I totally missed him and XRP you are 1000% right though that he just dropped in suddenly and didn't build up an operation, at least not one I can see from outside the state, like Warren did. Like I mentioned below I look at him as the lesser of two evils when it comes to the two of them.
Sadly I think a lot of the election is boiled down to that. People here have given me a ton of crap for being a Republican and while I am one it doesn't mean I agree with everything the party has done. I am no diehard Trump supporter and there is plenty I disagree with him on but when looking at the two candidates and what is best for the country I think DJT is a much better candidate.
To get any sort of regulatory clarity and to fix the SEC in the Senate two people have derailed all efforts so far. That being Warren and Brown which is why these races in the context of Warren sends a message across the bow about her policy and with Brown will likely cost him his job. Neither of them care to learn or engage and instead just scream whatever BS they think of and in the Senate a single member can tank any legislation which is why we gotta flush out the BS people who cant be bothered to learn.

Don't get me wrong. I would rather see Warren lose but being in bitcoin long enough you tire of people who use BItcoin's good name to elevate themselves and then immediately start crypto grifting once they gain enough status.

He shills XRP. Not sure he is much better than Warren.
Another idiot that used Bitcoin to make a name for himself and then became a scammer.

I honestly hadnt seen anything about him and XRP though I will say since his law firm is strickly designed for BTC and crypto it does make sense. Dont worry he's by no means a hero though he is the lesser of two evils which I feel is what a lot of this election cycle is going to come down to.

Really. He mentioned XRP in the debate. He said if it wasn't for him suing to make XRP legal then Chris Larsen wouldn't have been able to bribe (sorry donate) to Kamala Harris. You know that Chris Larsen guy that gave Greenpeace 5M bucks to run an attack ad on Bitcoin. Of course then you have his co-conspirator Brad Garlinghouse who was widely rebuked in silicon valley as a bad actor. No one wanted to do business with him.
These are the kind of characters that you support when you carry water for "crypto".

I'm being honest I didn't listen to the debate. I was packing up yesterday and now I am at the airport to fly back home. I took a mixture of comments highlighted by both people as well as what I have learned interacting with Warren and her staff before. I know that Garlinghouse has been a nightmare for the industry and XRP in my opinion isn't even worth it anymore because technology caught up.
Larsen did pull a really quick switch up which I have been trying to figure out if he is doing it because he is hedging his bets since a ton of crypto has been pro-Trump (not talking about BTC just the crypto-funded PACs).
Given my experience with Warren she doesn't want to learn about the industry. She made up her mind and that was it. At least to me that is way worse than someone who also deals in shitcoins.
