Not “one size fits all”, why should your wellness, food, health, life?
The key to Ayurvedic wellness and healing is the knowledge that health is not a “one size fits all” proposition. One must understand the unique nature of each person and situation, taking into account the individual, the season, the geography, and so on.
Have you ever wondered why some people are hyperactive while others stay calm? Why some people do not put on weight despite eating more than what is required while others gain weight by eating a simple three course meal? Ayurveda resolves all these questions with the three doshas or body types.
The only way to care for your body, is to know how to understand it.

***Reply with your 'body type' in the comments for I'll come up with a follow up post about "what type of food suits which type of body?"
Ayurveda is a proven science. Only those deny it who have never lead a life according to it or who haven't gone through the texts about Ayurveda.
Thanks for reading 🙏

My body type is 'Kapha'. I mostly try to be on the suggestive diet when home. It definitely helps a lot.

My body type is "Pitta'.

I am not familiar with Ayurveda myself, but this is what Wikipedia has to say about it:
Ayurveda (/ˌɑːjʊərˈveɪdə, -ˈviː-/; IAST: āyurveda[1]) is an alternative medicine system with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent.[2] It is heavily practiced throughout India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, where as much as 80% of the population report using ayurveda.[3][4][5] The theory and practice of ayurveda is pseudoscientific and toxic metals such as lead are used as ingredients in many ayurvedic medicines.[6][7][8][9]
Are lead, mercury and arsenic still used in modern days' preparations?
I'll take the test later today.
reply
Yes they are but they are used in very low quantities and are also not used in every medicine or supplement.
They exaggerate these heavy metals everywhere as the criticism for Aayurveda but I'm an example myself of wellness. I don't remember when the last time I caught fever, cough or cold.
reply
I haven't had a fever, cough, or cold either in years (at least, until my son's birth). That's an anecdote, it's not a scientific argument for or against the validity of a certain medicine.
I'll ask my colleague from Bangladesh what's his experience with this medicine. He follows the scientific method in his research, so I'll be more likely to trust his assessment.
Good to hear those quantities are low. And good to hear you are healthy. And great if it is thanks to Ayurveda.
Thanks for sharing, I hadn't heard about this. Always interesting to hear about different medicines in the world.
Tried taking the test, it keeps sending me to the product page, even after making an account.

I see that test is for some reason not working now. I'll find another one that works without login. Until then, you can judge body type according to the chart.

Ayurveda is much more than Medicine. For scientific evidences and methods, I'd suggest you to read texts related to Ayurveda and do your own practicals.

I'm definitely a Vata Dosha. Does everyone fit in one of these 3 buckets?
reply
This was originally determined by your astrological natal chart, and the relative elements present within it.

Lurking around to share your knowledge at opportune times, aren't you? :)

Isn't that the general MO of most stackers?
