Seeing that the usual bankster response to leaving the fiat currency, central bank, and IMF mode of operation is a quick hanging or ride on a bayonet, I expect to see some action when THEY feel adequately bothered by it. After all, El Salvador is not the largest economy in the world to loot clean.

the real question is what kind of shady shit will be plotted if Bukele decides to keep going this hard. he's a bit of an authoritarian and would be an ideal person to be replaced in a US-funded coup for example.
