I've had to double check a bunch of them, I think something's weird with the Google, it's stating 2000 for a lot of them but when I go I to the information it shows like January 2001. This song was such a massive anthem aswell

For album only tracks you are stuck with the year that was released, but if a track was released as a single in the following year from when it was released on the album, you've got two options.

Yeah, I'm being quite lenient with it as it's only for fun, if the album or the single were the correct year then I'll take it.
