Fuck Macron was a nice touch.
We need cross-posting, so I could easily pop this into ~econ and ~politics_and_law, too.

I wonder how that will work fee wise. You will have to pay all three fees or will a cross post fee be a static fee that is split by the territories it is posted across?
reply
I haven't seen them lay out the vision for it. I think there should be some economizing on the fees. Maybe you pay each territory's 70% share, but only the smaller of the chunks that would go to rewards.
I also don't know how zaps would work in cases where one person cross-posts another stacker's post.

You'd only crosspost your own posts during creation to start. "I want it to go in these three territories."
As far as I've thought about it, you'd pay the sum of the base fees for all territories you're posting in. Zaps fee would be split evenly between founders most likely.

This is a more interesting thing than it seems like it would be.

Well, you could also have some sort of weighting that's inversely proportional to posting fees, in order to even out territory revenue on these posts (and incentivize lower posting fees).
With even shares, there's a little incentive to have higher territory fees, because you get an equal share of zaps regardless of your fee, plus your entire fee (or 70% of it, to be more accurate).
There would also be the more ideal version of attributing zaps to a specific territory, if the reader found it through a specific territory.

Cross posting would be interesting.
There are times I look through the list and think about where I can post.
Usually I pick the one with the smaller fee lol

That's the right thing to do, most of the time.

That's true, but it's helpful to send the signals to territory owners that they have competitors who are charging less.
