"Another important thing to note is that the protocol implementation is not fully trustless as designed, yet. Currently, the VTXO tree is signed only by the server while it should be signed also by the users and the server misses APIs to collect such signatures. We're working on it as we speak on these aspects to ensure a robust and feature-complete implementation."
So the covenant less design just requires all users to be online for any state changes is all.
I am just saying that all Ark users have to be online to use Ark without covenants and that with covenants, end users could be offline most of the time.
Doesn't mean it won't be successful without it, just that I think it would be a lot nicer with it.
Doesn't somehow the same issue happens with Lightning too? At least for non-custodial mobile wallets and I assume for LN nodes too, if not the receiver is not online the payment will be not successful, or I'm wrong?
