Money is often seen as the root of evil and fear. If governments provided basic needs like food and housing, people wouldn’t be so focused on accumulating wealth.

The constant worry about money contributes to stress and depression. A fairer system might value individuals based on their contributions and skills rather than their wealth. With advancements in AI and automation, governments could fully support people, allowing them to focus on creativity and societal contributions. Eliminating money or replacing it with a system of tokens for essentials could reduce greed and inequality.

Wealth shouldn’t determine one’s value or humanity in society. Exploring new economic models might help restore a sense of humanity and fairness.

The problem is not money but centralized government/power. And, at the center of centralized power lies the heart of man, which devices all kinds of evil. All centralized governing systems always end up being run by criminals. Criminals have high affinity for centralized power. Again, centralized governing systems have ways of turning honest people into dishonest ones. The Individual have no rights of his/her own in a centralized system. Whatever it is, it always has to be for the "good" of the "whole" while ignoring the needs of the individual person.

In addition to debasing the currency, fiat monetary system debase the minds of the people. It breeds and hatches corruption everywhere.

The best system of governance is at the family level, in a world of decentralized money. Security? Live that to the community, in a world of decebtralized money.

Any form of money that can be centralized and inflated is the root of all kinds of evil and fear.

In soviet union they provided it. One small part of the price was the choice. What state gave you, with that thing live, often to the rest of the life. And that's ignoring the standard of living.

It's true that that houses weren't true properties, de jure ussr gave them as a loan to citizens. Still people lived for decades in hruschiovs boxes.

In a non-fiat world, wealth comes from your contributions and skills because people vote with their money and buy what they value; in a fiat world it is all about rent seeking and who is the closest to the money printer, fiat delenda est

A system like that where everyone depended on the goodwill of the government to meet their basic needs would be the exact opposite.

You are right, but this is because you view that quote from the democratic perspective, in general mixing politics with finance this is the result, “government” per se is a group of people who controls the country.

Same message can be used with bitcoin against fiat, but if we view things just from one side of owr own view and understanding and not knowing or having programmed minds with propaganda every day, yeah.

Also "We are the shadows that serve the light" is better quote.

It’s sad but when people start making lots of money typically they don’t care to give a damn about the people that have less than them or the environment . Money has the ability to blind u from the good and give u a hard headed mindset

Seems that Francisco d'Anconia doesn’t speak about fractional reserve banking and what is money backed by, he is right of the paper actually have something to back the printing, but if we just pay tax and to maintain the illusion we are doomed.

I think it’s a nice ideal. However, I think because the masses have been conditioned by fiat for so long, they would be resistant towards change, even if money were removed. We have become a world that centres our self-worth based on our net worth
