Sadly, the Jets don't seem to be as far along on reuniting their gang. And it'd be a tough game even with him with the Niners fully loaded now.
Exactly. This has the makings of an ugly, stomping around cursing, turn it off in the 3rd quarter Monday night.
As I mentioned to Siggy. I think it will be a low scoring game. I expect Rodgers to be a bit rusty and the 49ers offense to not be in rhythm yet with Williams, Aiyuk and CMC all missing the entire training camp. 24-20 or 20-17 type of game wouldn't surprise me.

If I was objective O would take the niners in week 1, but I can't do that to my Jets.
I am expecting a relatively low scoring game. Week 1. 49ers offense hasn't really practiced together. Both teams have really good defenses. Rodgers just coming back from a year off.
It will be interesting to see if there is any dust that Williams has from his absence. He knows the system and everything is how it was but ya know how great was his training while he was away is something that I wonder about
He is a future hall of famer. I am not too concerned. Even at 80% of his normal play he is way better than Jaylon Moore who would have started in his place. I think the 49ers will win the game but non division, non conference, first game of the year, if they do lose it is not a big deal.
