As someone with minimal javascript skills, it's also a nifty way to learn more outside of a traditional tutorial.
Totally agree that this is another neat way to learn. But please don’t apply this sort of practice in a professional setting. Coding something intentionally under 140 characters almost always means unreadable, and therefore not maintainable.
No worries there -- I'll never be good enough at coding to do it for money. I just like being able to read it.
