A few years ago, I had the opportunity to pass through Medellin - Colombia. And on that short trip I was on the streets of Antioquia, and in a place called Pueblito Paisa... I really liked the vibe of the Colombian people, everyone was really kind in my short stay there, something to highlight was that I tried a Colombian appetizer called Mangobiche, a rather aggressive combination of flavors and the truth is it was not something I would like to try again.
To describe it, it was like a green mango 🥠with spices, in frozen mode.
Has anyone known this dessert or ever tried it?
Do you have any similar anecdotes?
If so, I would like to read it.

I also spent some time at a bus terminal in Medellin on my way to the country where I have lived for more than 7 years. I only spent one night there but I was able to enjoy the night food. And honestly, I like Colombia more than here in Peru.

Honestly, I spent very little time in Colombia, exactly three days in Medellin, and it was a pleasant experience. One detail worth highlighting that I really liked was that there were many trees and vegetation everywhere, and in all the public squares there was free Wi-Fi for travelers. 🛜 🆓

I was so confused the first time I tried Mangobiche, as I expected.. mango, but it's, like you say, grren mango with salt. I much prefer ripe mango. :D

I have tried green mango in pieces with salt or spices... it is something very common to see, in the place where I come from. But we had never prepared a semi-frozen cold drink with those ingredients. It was a unique and fun experience hahaha. And in the end I suppose there will be people who like that combination of flavors in Mangobiche ðŸ¥

Colombia has always been so rich and varied in every sense, for me it is a pride to be Colombian.
