In the context of SN, failure would mean an inability to garner even 1 sat. I know it’s hard to believe, given how established I am, but I have my fair share of stinkers.

My most recent zero-warrior was written just this month.

In the past, when I equated the success of my writing to the amount of zaps I gathered from it, I might have tied my self-identity a bit too tightly to my article. My soul would quiver, and I would think that my writing is inadequate in one way or another.

Luckily for me, I gradually shifted from a Money to Meaning mindset. This helped me dissociate myself from the searing sting of rejection. I fervently believe that once released into the Universe, my words have value and reap me dividends, even if they don’t bring in 💰.

The rewards could come in the form of:

  • increased clarity about my thoughts and feelings
  • enhanced self-confidence wrt making myself vulnerable
  • consolidation of my brand identity via my personal blog

A zero-zap post also gives me feedback that it is not the preferred reading material of Stackers. At this juncture, I will be faced with a juicy conundrum - do I refrain from writing about this topic because I know it won’t appeal to SN readers, or do I still continue to write in order to honour my ideas and be authentic? It’s a meaty issue to chew on!

Keep working for your dreams. People definitely come together one day or the other. If you provide value in the life of others, they will always be found standing behind you

If you spend 50% of time building and 50% on marketing, they might come.

(suggestion as per the "Traction" book)

Optimizing for sats will invariably erode the quality of your work. If your goal is to continuously improve then I think you have the right mindset.

Be 1% better every day so as to be 37x better in a year’s time!

I guess its just life! There were many different youtube videos I have spent hours upon hours creating, and would get like 3 views. It was heartbreaking, but the way I look past the lack of views is you are just putting your thoughts out into the universe. Others may sync with them, but others will just ignore them or not relate. I wouldn't take it too seriously - post on things that give you heart!

There are no limits to writing ideas, just write what you want to write, because writing can also be a memory that can be used as an experience for other people.

It helps me remember as well!

reply

That's right, friend, maybe after retirement or old age it can become a memory for our children and grandchildren or those closest to us.
