Lest we forget, the US is a surveillance state. We have as much or more to fear from US government backdoors and these same lawmakers total disregard of the Constitution.

Start9's open source router firmware can't come soon enough! I know openwrt exist but a "for dummies" version will significantly bolster adoption.

Yikes, I use one of these routers. We need to become a more self reliant nation and work to manufacture more of this stuff ourselves.
