Yep! Hospital decided they knew better and moved it though so that's super scary in hindsight! I wore a c-collar for a couple of months before my surgery and then six months after any time I wasn't lying down. To this day I still wear it for airplane take offs and landings because of how bumpy and just the force on your neck at those times. Same if the flight is having a lot of turbulence!

I remember my neighbor had a halo, the cleaning took forever!

Luckily for me it was something that only took a couple of hours and once I failed the test they removed it. It was a quick oh you hella failed this so this is going to be a short little surgery and I was able to go back to the RMH that night!

It is a wonderful place I hope to one day be able to give them a huge gift for all the amazing people there and what all they do. Everyone that worked or volunteered there were angels!

Very good environment, and many people going through similar things.
