We need more app developers communicating this stuff. I've seen a lot of the bigger brands reporting on it, but they've got to be the tip of the iceberg. People need to know how much harm Apple is doing.
I let myself get upset yesterday about how confusing Apple made TV OS's interface a few months ago. It intentionally mislabels "home" such that it takes you to their wrapper around all the other streaming platforms where they prioritize their own TV+ content and gather data on everything you're watching. There's no longer an obvious way to navigate to all the other streaming apps like Prime and Netflix that don't want to submit to this power grab. You have to go to "home" and then press the back button to see the real "home" screen with the apps.

I think this is what they call "Dark Patterns".
If it's not, it's Dick Patterns at minimum.

Apple has gotten too big, they are the bully in the room now. They aren't the resistance or the group trying to bring down the man. They are the man.
We need to build products that stand for resistance and freedom money, watch Apple try to tax every tx in the wallet in the future.

just that To comply with Apple’s App Store guidelines, platforms like Patreon may need to adjust how they operate within iOS apps. This could involve restructuring how they handle transactions or even directing users to complete purchases outside the app, which can create friction for users.

Apps should legit advertise the Apple Tax and pass the cost on to the consumer, like show it on your website, if you use Apple products you will pay more versus android apps or web site
