The European Union's aggressive move against Elon Musk's X is a blatant attack on free speech, revealing the EU's deep-rooted obsession with control. Under the guise of data privacy, the Irish Data Protection Commission's (DPC) lawsuit against X is nothing short of a power grab, aiming to stifle open dialogue and impose a regime of censorship.
This is no longer about protecting user data; it's about the EU's functionary class flexing its muscles and showing its true authoritarian colors. By targeting X's AI tool Grok, the EU is sending a clear message: dissent will not be tolerated. The EU's control fetishism has reached a point of no return, and the consequences for freedom in Europe are dire.
We must stand up for our rights before it's too late. The EU's overreach is a threat to our most fundamental liberties, and this latest move is just the beginning of a broader campaign to silence any voice that doesn't conform. The battle for free speech is on, and we cannot afford to lose.

Facebook is a crap. Now, X is also getting scrapped everywhere. I think, it's time we see a huge growth at Nostr and SN.
Btw, have you heard of this?

Personally, I think that in the EU they are bordering on desperation to have control of the masses... and that no one breaks the protocol... no one breaks rules... and everyone walks like lambs to the slaughterhouse!! Freedom of expression is a fundamental right in the world! and attack the applications or as they call them social networks... which, although not everything in them is positive because without supervision they can easily damage the childhood of any child... they are a means to express and communicate what is happening around you and by give an example in South American countries such as the case of Venezuela when they had a signal or access to the internet while the protests were taking place right now in their last elections... through the networks they have been able to denounce and show the world what is happening in that socialist dictatorship who has already been in power for 25 years... to conclude, I would say that in the EU they should focus on other plans such as their economy and leave others alone!

As the EU continues to reinforce Europe's irrelevance in the world, I have to wonder what it is they think they're doing.
Are they just looking to rule over their isolated fiefdom, as we've seen other authoritarian communist regimes do?
Do they think Europe still has enough global significance to make these sorts of demands and have everyone else cater to them?
reply
this is the result of a complete decoupling of the insulated caste from reality. They will increase in intensity the more the EU falls
