Putins inofficial stance is "Bitcoin for me but not for thee".
The explosive trade with Turkey, the -stan countries and south east asia tells you everything you need to know. Surely a lot gets funnled through China aswell. Trade along this massive land border REQUIRES Bitcoin because there is no alternative. And on the other hand Putin hates the idea of enabling his citizens.

If I was russian, I would try to get a job in the industry that drives trucks back and forth over the Russian-Kazakh border. Seems like the best place to get Bitcoin at all.

What is the point of sanctions then, since Bitcoin is independent and not linked to Swift. It turns out that all sanctions were nipped in the bud.
