Olympics are supposed to be family friendly. That portion of the ceremony was most certainly not family friendly.
Could you imagine the backlash if they had mocked any religion other than Christianity?
My father was watching the show happily on our 65" Sony TV and he suddenly went out calling a few abusive words (of course in Hindi) for the Olympics.

We don’t have to imagine

Catholicism/Christianity have lost power and, above all, respect. As @simplestaker says, there are only a couple of religions that we have to be aware of their reactions. I am not religious or a believer, and I find the abuses, murders and aberrations committed in the name of a God absurd. Personally, I am not offended by the scene of the last supper, but I do find it disturbing and disturbing to see those people with that appearance.
Ironically, thank God the Holy Inquisition is over.

I don’t think you have to be religious to find it off putting to mock a specific religion during a celebration of global sport.

I was just in X and saw this video. What's happening to France? First the left wins, the disastrous show at the Olympics and now this.

edit: too many immigrants from the wrong countries

Are there immigrants from the right countries?
Exactly, something totally out of place in an environment that has nothing to do with it. It's a sporting event, not a parody.

it was a clown show

I'll be honest, I didn't see the show, I've only seen those images and it's more than enough to not want to watch it.

One reason for the Spanish Inquisition was to expel the Moors who conquered Spain and Portugal in 720.
Or as George Costanza would say, the Moops!

They did it as I described. Watch it

Did what?

during this terrible performance, they dragged the last supper into the mud. you don't have to be a religious person to interpret something like this as a culture war and perceive it as anti-social

Yes I saw it. I said "could you imagine the backlash if they had mocked any religion other than Christianity". I know they mocked Christianity. I am just pointing out it is ok and in fashion for the leftists to hate Christianity but if this ceremony had mocked Islam they would have been calling for the organizers to be tried at the Hague.

To be fair, there's only one religion whose reaction we have to constantly worry about.
