I'm surprised the stock tanked only ~15%! It should have tanked 50% plus! A huge erosion of trust now with this company.
Using CrowdStrike is basically mandatory for a lot of businesses due to ridiculous regulations; they have a massive moat around their business that will be hard to drain.
Yikes, I wouldn't want to be forced into something this fragile. Hopefully more competitors spring out of this as well.

What should be more shocking about this is how many businesses still use Windows for servers. Linux is not that hard to learn. That switch alone would dramatically decrease the threats business face from cyber threats.
True story. I am still considering whether and how much Microsoft would be hurt because of this "issue"
