It looks like the monstrosity that is Tropicana Field, where the Tampa Bay Rays have played since joining MLB in 1998, won’t be the worst stadium in MLB for too many more years.
St. Petersburg city council has approved the Rays plan for a new stadium as part of a larger redevelopment plan for the district.
One more approval from the county and the Rays can build a brand new beautiful stadium that people might actually go to. (Might being the operative word)
