While I don't necessarily agree, it's important to point out that this magazine displays racist and anti-Semitic tendencies.
Racist tendencies and anti-Semitic tendencies are potentially two very different things. It's a scientific fact that many minorities are less intelligent on average (some groups significantly less). Equally, it's a scientific fact that Ashkenazi Jews are on average smarter than pretty much any other group of humans (just look at the absurd number of Nobel prizes that group wins). Nazi Germany wiped out Jews by the millions, an utterly despicable act targeting the best and brightest of German society, so they're very sensitive to anti-Semitism and have special laws criminalizing it in particular.
Depending on what is actually going on, the German government may be criminalizing the publication of scientific facts. We don't know, because the materials published have been censored.
Indeed, this very post may be considered illegal in Germany...

Agree partially. The Compact magazine was disgusting and will not be missed. BUT in a democracy with freedom of speech and freedom of press such opinions must be tolerated

No. That's why I said I don't agree, everyone has the right to freedom of expression. But everyone should know, including those targeted by their racist and anti-Semitic attitudes, that they are extremists and do not represent European values.

I'm not going to waste much time on this because everyone who is even remotely informed knows that this is the case. I'll just leave you with this one.

Compact’s editor and CEO, Jürgen Elsässer, a former leftist who lurched to the right and now calls for the “toppling of the regime” in Germany, can appeal against the ban.
He called the raid an “attack on press freedom”, the daily Bild reported. “These are fascist measures by Nancy Faeser. Compact magazine’s funds are all being confiscated. I can no longer pay salaries,” he was quoted as saying.
The far-right AfD made strong gains in elections for the European parliament last month and is in the lead for polls in three east German states in September. Leading AfD officials in Thuringia and Brandenburg states, Stefan Möller and Hans-Christoph Berndt, strongly condemned the government’s Compact ban.
