You’re right. Also we may need to consider injuries. Can not remember a long lasting injury in Messi or Cristiano’s career. Regarding drugs , I can only think of what Maradona could’ve done if he had not used them.
He’s surely got the skills but it all comes down to application and will.. Many talented players emerged as future Ballon D’Or contenders but disappeared after a couple of seasons. Messi & Cristiano are prime examples of talent + application to stay at the top for so long.
I am sure about it. It’s important also family and friends. What it strikes me is how he manages at press conferences and dealing with journalists at his age. Quite sensible boy!

It is too early to think, you have the talent and that is undeniable, so you have the opportunities and the options, but it is still too early to reach strong conclusions.
