It troubles me but also I don't know enough to have an intelligent opinion on it. I have a friend from the country and the stories he tells give me pause. I can't imagine the kind of fear they lived under even ten years ago.

I do know this. The US drug policy plays a roll in all of this and I wish we could see an ending of the "drug war" but it is so lucrative I don't see that happening soon.
