I have super crime credit and most of my cards are between 20 & 29%.

Here in the U.S. they often provide a 12-month period of 0% interest, and on the 13th month a 29% rate kicks in. This is on the verge of predatory. In fact, several people I know with a few thousand dollar balances cannot get out of debt, they are on this vicious cycle.

The truth is that here in Lima Peru the interest rates on credit cards are quite affordable... and we could also say that the currency in circulation which is the Nuevo Sol... is quite stable.

I do use my credit card sometimes because, sadly, it’s the only card number I remember and so can be used anytime needed 🤣 never had to pay any interest yet.. but yeah, unbelievable.

I use debit a lot of the time. I have been told I should really start using a credit card to get "points", but that means I have to spend more and more money to accumulate them. I just dont think it is really worth it.
