I just realized I used the past weekend in the when2meet link (June 29-30). I meant the weekend that is coming up of course (July 6-7).
@itsTomekK also created a team on lichess as mentioned in #594018.
With this team, we can play swiss tournaments:
In a Swiss tournament (wiki), each competitor does not necessarily play all other entrants. Competitors meet one-on-one in each round and are paired using a set of rules designed to ensure that each competitor plays opponents with a similar running score, but not the same opponent more than once. The winner is the competitor with the highest aggregate points earned in all rounds. All competitors play in each round unless there is an odd number of players.
The first swiss tournament will start on Jul 7, 2024, 5:50 PM CEST (timezone converter1).
So this means we now have two tournaments that you can join:
Area Tournament
so far, it looks like it will be at Jul 6, 2024, 2:00 PM CEST (timezone converter)
Swiss Tournament
Link: https://lichess.org/swiss/ySlv35tz Date: Jul 7, 2024, 5:50 PM CEST (timezone converter)

Footnotes

  1. time is off by 5 minutes because the tool only supports steps of 15 minutes
This weekend I won't be able on 2 pm on 6 of July, but swiss tournament I'll attend
btw, what "one round per day" means? Will we play for 7 days?
ps joined team on lichess

Thanks for the update!

Good question, asked myself this, too, and I think the answer is yes.
But can @itsTomekK confirm?

I have a suggestion for stackers who join the tournament: Please, find a way to add your SN name to your lichess account name.
