The US is suffering from the European disease: almost all jobs are being created in the government sector, new parasitic jobs that have to be paid for by the active population. Of the 221,000 newly offered jobs created last month, 179,000 were government jobs. This is the road to socialism, the road to national bankruptcy, the death of free enterprise productivity. This is the last shot President Biden's failed administration can fire, having already run down the Strategic Petroleum Reserve as far as it could to manipulate oil prices downward.

This is one of the reliable indicators of recession in the US.

Let's hope that one or two people will wake up and realize how the government is lying to them. The show that Joe Biden put on may have woken up some people

My Democrat relatives are at least acknowledging now that he's too old and needs to be switched out, but I don't think they've learned any sort of broader lesson.

I have a friend who wants a Gavin Gretchen ticket

Maybe in 2028

They were still in shock. I haven't heard a preferred ticket, beyond not Biden.

where do you see these figures for Europe?

reply

In this case they hide the numbers in the national statistics. So you have to analyze exactly every labor market report from every state individually. I know the figures from Germany quite well and the private economy here has long been in decline. The private sector cut 175,000 jobs here within a year

UBI is going to be a hot topic, the WEF loves to talk about it

States like California emulate many European governments (the worst parts, not the good things[1]). Then most states in the US emulate California, though most are in denial of this.

So this should be expected. What is frustrating to me is that so few seem to see this pattern and on top of that when a European nation starts to change course, instead of looking at that action the US continues down the same path.

Its almost like politicians aren't interested in outcomes but rather elections and power. They have very little to lose and mountains to gain.

  1. By good things I mean when governments roll back bad polices like Sweden did when it tried full blown socialism. It was a disaster and it rolled it back. Still not ideal but it seems politicians are willfully ignorant of the mistakes made in Europe.

Why are there so many job openings in government ?

That's why they are going to replace the government this time. You give the people jobs which are making them slaves, they do realise it and vote against you.

I still think the herd is too dumb to get it

reply

The herd will beg for CBDCs if you give them 4% on it

reply

It's true! they already cheer when they get 2% on their fiat money, as they do in Germany.
