Yes, they are. I always wonder how do such old people as Biden (81) and Trump (78) are still thinking about materialistic possessions. Do they not have any sense for attaining high spirituality in the last years of their lives. Or, may they know that they are going to be living for another 30 and 40 years and they will have enough time after their 2nd term.
Its not even about being old you know, its about power which supersedes all other senses.
The world they have lived, known about is gone, the ideas they’ve had of life, needs of society have long gone as well. The gap between them and the new generation is huge. Their ideas or solutions to the conflicts of the new world is also outdated. Yet they’re clinging on, people are voting for them? Either people also want them or they don’t have better options to them which is quite worrying as they’re ‘like’ the conductors of the world.
