Bitcoin's inflation in 2010 was fixed, because it was a bug.. As for fiat, what do you do when inflation is not a bug, but a main feature?... Opt-out

I wonder if these bugs could ever re-emerge? I know other coins have had this issue. As for Bitcoin, i'm sure it would get soft forked fast if something were to be found in terms of an inflation bug.
