The labor market in the eurozone is rolling over. In May, unemployment rose in France, one of the two largest economies alongside Germany one of the two largest economies in the eurozone alongside Germany, rose by 41,000 jobs.
This puts the official number of unemployed at 2.816 million. Of course, hundreds of thousands of non-employed people are hiding in job creation programs or are no longer included in the statistics due to their age. These are the usual tricks of the eurozone technocrats. Times are getting difficult in the EUSSR.
If I understand the French correctly, the unemployed get more in terms of handouts than their employed counterparts. There’s a sure disincentive to work!

France is starting to dip, too. Once Spain and Greeece have the same thing, the EU will really be suffering.

Take a look at the macroeconomic figures for the southern European countries and you will see that the problems there are much greater in some cases, for example in Italy. The European Union is lending to this country to prevent it from falling into political ruin.

Since the Vatican is in Italy, it should help prop it up.

You also have to add in all of the government workers.

Totally!
Add all those maimed and marginalized by anything from big pharma to Bolshevik welfare systems and you'll be pretty close to the rates between WW1 & 2, so expect similar results in the end...

This article clearly explains the Macron era in France, but I don't think it's very positive for France or the rest of Europe.

EUSSR! Is it symbolic to USSR?
You're right the exact number of unemployed people never cknez out anywhere. Why not we also include those old people who still have to work, if they can, they don't have any other way. EU should be immediately dissolved and all for themselves prior to 1995 should be effective. Otherwise the situation will get worse from here. I only view EU as the puppet of States.
