The Giant is located at the end of Fegina beach, after the car park. It is a 1910 sculpture in iron and reinforced concrete, the work of Arrigo Minerbi de Ferrar and the engineer Levacher, built by Giovanni and Juanita Pastine, two "monterossini" who came from Argentina after becoming wealthy.
Standing at 14 metres and measuring 1,700 quintals, the statue representing Neptune decorated the splendid Villa Pastine with a huge shell-shaped terrace, which was bombed along with the village during the Second World War. In 1966, a rough sea weakened the giant, which was partially restored. It currently has no arms, no trident and one leg.
