Yikes - Most PCS from 2017 can run fortnite pretty fine. is it sucking all the computing power or something?
It's hard to tell yet, but I'd imagine it's more that it's interfering with some code. Otherwise, we'd like hear about things like BG3 and Diablo 4 (both of which are more memory-intensive) having issues.

Both are incredible games. I am hoping for GTA6 in 2025 :)

The new laptops are using ARM processor, which doesn't run X86 software natively, and they need a translation layer.
This sometimes just don't work with some apps, and /or Tae a 10-20% performance hit.
Kinda like when Apple switch from Intel to m1 chips. If or once more softwares start being compatible, it will be quite efficient
Lots of exciting stuff happening in the laptops space.
