It was the annual "home cafes day" today in my hometown, an event to which I hadn't been in a few years. Was great to be a (small) part of something like this again, and I also did my part in helping my parents accept #Bitcoin for payments (though, admittedly, in a very rudimentary manner.). Unfortunately there was no interest in paying with Bitcoin... yet. Better luck next time. 🤠

oh yeah I guess so, thanks. It should be clear that I'm not making calculated nor strategic decisions about impact. It is far too cringe to me to consider (which is not flattering to admit). Still, a reason for it is, I would say, being early, posting original content with no expectations, being lucky enough to earn support in meat space.

@k00b why is it so hard to Pay territory invoices with an outside wallet? I have a direct channel to the SN node the payment should process instantly but instead it fails. It seems like the only way I can pay for my territory is by sending sats to my SN wallet and paying it from there.

Anyone else on SN running into this issue?

I don't know, but if you can give more info I can try to help. I pay large invoices to SN with an external wallet everyday for rewards.

It could be that your channel's network connection to SN's node isn't reliable (Tor) or your direct channel doesn't have enough liquidity when you account for channel reserves.

Hate to post this here but this is what I got: here is what I did

Went to my territory (Construction and engineering)
Clicked pay
Clicked copy invoice
Opened Zeus and selected to pay
Waiting for 5 mins still no confirmation of payment
When back to stacker news and got the something went wrong and copied the error log and posted it here.

It’s strange to me I can’t pay a territory invoice using my own ln node but I can pay to my hosted wallet on SN no problem. I paid my SN hosted wallet quite a bit of sats with no problem.

Is this all from your phone? You need to pay in zeus then go back to SN for the payment to complete. It's hard to explain, but you need to be "watching" the page on SN for the payment to complete.

Hmm... I haven't been so engaged in the ecosystem recently. All discussions feel worn and circular. I've read every book, listened to every podcast, tried every service and wallet.

I feel a lot of memories from my childhood have faded. Only the ones worth remembering are recalled. But I have heard before that every time you recall it, you change the memory a little bit. Change its perspective, which could change the whole narrative of that memory.

I think that everything is experienced differently when you are a child because of the sensation and feeling of novelty, this makes the brain generate a lot of dopamine and serotonin, every time you embark on something new or try something new you have a similar feeling but perhaps not as powerful as when you were a child, for what I have no explanation is for the most vivid memories as you age.

Economic Gain

The word “fine” is a legal term used in regards to a breached policy within a contract, and for a “fine” to be issued you must first consent to the contract and accept the policy.

Therefore, if you are issued with a “fine” in court, you must question “the court” as follows:

“Who is going to financially benefit regarding any fine that may be imposed?”
“I require the contract to be brought forth to prove obligation to pay.”

Note: although difficult, it is possible to track payments and bonds that the court processes, so if done correctly you can prove fraud.

For example: if it is found that “the court” is working alongside “the police”, both having DUNS numbers or are registered businesses, like all are, then they are “for-profit”, so there is a clear and provable conflict of interest.

Note: when a court pronounces “debt to society” it is referring to the BAR association or “Law society”. There is no such thing as “debt to society”, assuming that means “to the people”, as “the people” do not receive the payment made.

BAR is an acronym for British Accreditation Registry and is a privately owned corporation.

Meaning, this is a fraudulent “court for profit” and no law is being conducted. Therefore, any employee of the court is committing barratry by using the phrase “pay your debt to society”.

Years ago I lived in an apartment building where the maintenance guy"s basset hound would ride the elevators all day. The doors would open on your floor and there would just be a dog in the elevator. When the elevator reached the ground floor, sometimes he would get out, and sometimes he didn't. This went on for years.
