Little bit more meat on the bone.
Different. I like it. There are so many good covers of Hallelujah.
It's such a good song that you have to really make an effort to screw it up.
I decided on the Buckley version because it is probably the most well known cover. The best cover I have heard of hallelujah was KD Lang from the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver olympics.
Oooooo that's really good. He absolutely nails that!
I agree with what you're saying, I feel like the rock elements that safety suit used allowed the piece to become really emotive and raw without needing to be stripped back to acoustics. I also really liked the way they played into the 3/4 timing to create something very waltz like with the emphasis closer to a waltz. Very clever.
Ummm that's a she and yes she is a lesbian. Haha
🤣🤣
I feel like Hallelujah's the most covered song in existence these days. And that's fine, because it's a masterpiece. But I still go with Leonard, even if Buckley's was amazing.
Hard to go against Leonard here but I do love the Buckley version. The guitar work is great and the clean, slightly bright tone on the guitar is a nice element.
Perfectly summed up
