Personally, I take note of post which are boosted vs not boosted.

My thinking: If someone has spent Sats to boost an post there is a decent chance it could be urgent. Made Up Example: " @Car has been assaulted by @k00b for drinking the last beer during weekly SNL. "

I would like the ability to boost an post after the 10 minute edit period. As mention by @Undisciplined post can get buried and being able to throw some additional Sats at a post would be helpful in my opinion. As shown in @OneOneSeven post. Might also help prevent re-posting of the same topic.
