I'm going with England

Solid choice! If they can play as a unit and put their egos aside I think they have a good shot. It's just difficult to play together when you have so many big name personalities on the field at the same time, so for me I don't see them winning it, not until they hire a manager who knows how to manage a team full of superstars.

In the previous European Championship, they reached the final, and they could have won it, I think they arrived at this European Championship in a better moment, but as you say, they have to put their egos aside and play as a team.

As long as Southgate is there, England aren't winning anything.

I don't have much idea about the coach, is he that bad?

He has one of the youngest and most exciting youth squads and yet he plays like a dinosaur era tactics.
Even last Euros he should have won, instead lost to Italy (who has failed to reach last two world cups i think) because of his defensive tactics.

Yes, I agree that the squad that England has is simply exceptional and capable of anything, maybe you are right and what is holding them back is their coach.

Cole Palmer was second to Haaland for goals and assists in Premier league this season and he was on the bench for the first game Instead he went with Phil Foden who looked lost.
He started that game with 6 defensive players. Doesn't matter how good TAA is going forward he is still a defender, at best a wingman and he was playing in midfield.
Small decisions make you win or lose games.

I think Germany & France have a chance to win.

Germany certainly had a smashing opener! I'm not too convinced with France this time around, but with their experience anything can happen, and they'll be a force to be reckoned with if they grow into this tournament.

They always do. Their experience and their squad depth is amazing as well.
Even their B choice are a starter somewhere in major European teams so they're well equipped to face any challenge.

I love your prediction!! Though not 100% sure that this will end as you suggest.
It would be great that Spain reached the final!

I'm really liking the way Spain is playing right now with good team chemistry. They have started the tournament strong so we'll see what happens!

I am still taking Germany even though I have been informed they are not one of the favourites this time around.

Never a bad idea to choose the hosting nation! Solid opening game for them today!

They are. They have re-emerged under Julian Nagelsmann and after their opening day performance, putting 5 past Scotland they're one of the favorites to go all they way.

I dunno but Scotland aren't looking too promising right now! 😄

Scots have had a shocker of a game. And the red card killed all hopes of a fight if there was any.
