Hey Everyone- I was thinking today how messed up it is that we live in a world where the Federal Reserve, Treasury, and our government work secretly in lockstep to run the markets and the economy hot right before the election. As an asset holder, I'm indifferent - it doesn't hurt me. This isn't right, and this isn't good for our system.

As someone who cares about those who don't hold assets - how can society not speak up more about this? On both sides of the aisle, it is wrong for the Federal Reserve to bend into the political winds. They conveniently are going to cut rates in the September meeting, it will feel euphoric in a few months - but in early 2025 we are going to pay big time for a bad inflation bill. I'm sure the same thing would happen with any candidate from any party - but the FED must remain independent. They are building up the narrative right now that inflation is lower than expectations and teeing up a rate cut in September. What are your thoughts on this?! Do you think the FED is actually independent? I do think Bitcoin will fix this.
