How many of you have binge watched a tv show?
I dont do if frequently, but I did watch 3 episodes together of Shogun!
It was 2x speed, but still.....
What was the last tv show you binge watched?
I realize it isnt the healthiest thing to do, but in our busy lives sometimes a 1.5 hr session of tv helps us relax :P

Probably Game Of Thrones tbh. I try to avoid tv shows these days but my wife likes all the hospital dramas, i can't remember the names however. 😄

I think it was either the punisher or daredevil, since netflix used to drop all the eps at once, and I used to go buck wild on it

I think Netflix does it.
Does it do it anymore?
It might depend on the tv show.

This used to be something my wife and I did regularly, when we used to have free evenings.
Watching on 2x, though, seems insane.

The highest I'll go 1.1. I still like it to sound like a normal person talking.
I did have to watch all of my advisor's recorded lectures every year, so that I could answer student questions about them, and I watched those at 2x. After hours of listening to him talk at 2x, talking to him in person was a little weird.

Haha
He talked a little slow in real life?
1.5x the tempo is a little off, but at 2x it is smoother.
I have tried 1.75, thats a bit choppy, too.

I love a good binge. I'll even do a full weekend evening binge when I can afford it. I'm mostly looking to purge whatever is top of mind when I consume media and kind of leave my body/mind if I can.
I think the last like truly unhealthy binge I had was when I found Snowfall.

I will have to give it a try.
Usually during a binge, I just want to get through the episodes.
I might not be paying attention 100% even.
Maybe it is a type of therapy? lol

We re-upped our Apple TV since Severance is coming back soon and there were other shows we wanted to check out, and we just binged* Palm Royale* over the weekend. Cheesy schlocky fun. We're probably going to blast through the second season of Loot in a couple of days.
