It's true. And in all these years, Axl was looking for perfection.. Maybe in another 20 years this album will also receive the recognition it deserves. As has happened to many other greats in the music scene.

Tbh I felt that way about the crusade album from trivium. Any other band and it would have been an absolute banger, but it didn't sound like what we had to come to know as their sound. Several years later and that album is one of my favourites, it's really well put together and some of the guitar work is awesome.
