As you may have noticed, i m more in Reggae, Rock Psychedelic, Rock, Trance, Funk , Trip Hop.... When i was 12years old, i used to listen Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Van Hallen, Ac-Dc but i ve been listening to it for 3 or 4 years .... Then i stopped listen to that type of music. i ve been discovering or rediscovering Hard Rock, Metal Rock for the past 5 years...
And thks :)

Yeah, your submissions have been awesome to hear, but if you enjoy that hard rock sound, GnR you got a great bunch to pick from.
reply
Just the right charge to start the day! Great song, but is there any Guns song that isn't? πŸ˜‰
reply
Don't go looking at the Chinese democracy album. It's technically GnR but it's just not very good.
reply
Certainly there were high expectations for that album. However, it's also true that those who have experienced "Welcome to the jungle," "Paradise city," "Don't cry," "Sweet child o' mine," "November rain," "You could be mine"... have a hard time appreciating any of Guns' other musical works..
reply
For sure. If CD had been released by a band that didn't have those high expectations on them, I think it would be looked at much more favourably but unfortunately it's got some pretty big shoes to compete with, especially seeing as it took a decade to release.
reply
It's true. And in all these years, Axl was looking for perfection.. Maybe in another 20 years this album will also receive the recognition it deserves. As has happened to many other greats in the music scene.
reply
Tbh I felt that way about the crusade album from trivium. Any other band and it would have been an absolute banger, but it didn't sound like what we had to come to know as their sound. Several years later and that album is one of my favourites, it's really well put together and some of the guitar work is awesome.

Paradise City is a classic! Love it

Perhaps I share my favourite Japanese song Sukiyaki. So famous that a boy band called 4PM did an English version of it. @riberet19 liked the 4PM cover; maybe he would like the original as well:
reply
This was really cool! I love hearing different music from non English backgrounds. It's really interesting to me to hear the music techniques they use.
reply
I like it also! but I liked the first one more :)

What language is that, Spanish?, Portuguese? Sounds great, love the almost flamenco sounding influence in the background.

Slash has been sitting in with the house band on the Jimmy Kimmel show, so here's a song from the last classic-era GnR album he was on, a cover of a great Nazareth song.
reply
Nazareth! That's a big dig for a diamond in a rock face. And slash is such a phenomenal musician.

Old Fashioned Feeling - Midland
I know, I just posted a Midland song yesterday! This single just released yesterday though, so I've been enjoying it.
reply
Brand new single just dropped! Let's go! Can't get fresher than that!
reply
I'm looking forward to the album! It was originally supposed to release in April or May, but so far they've just done two singles. So I'll enjoy those in the meantime!
reply
As shall we thanks to you sharing them.

TIL Damn It Feels Good to be a Gangster by Geto Boys shows the JFK assassination in their music video and has lyrics that weren't played in the movie Office Space.
"And now, a word from the President
Damn it feels good to be a gangsta Gettin' voted into the White House Everything lookin' good to the people of the world But the Mafia family is my boss So every now and then I owe a favor gettin' down Like lettin' a big drug shipment through And send 'em to the poor community So we can bust you know who So voters of the world keep supportin' me And I promise to take you very far Other leaders better not upset me Or I'll send a million troops to die at war To all you Republicans, that helped me win I sincerely like to thank you 'Cause now I got the world swingin' from my nuts And damn it feels good to be a gangsta"
