The major thing here is the @remindme bot via @WeAreAllSatoshi. The syntax is identical to @delete but instead of deleting an item, it reminds you by sending you a notification at the time you set.

This release also causes a warning to show on the settings page when you only have a single auth method via @t0m.

Also, territory subscriptions weren't showing an indicator on notifications (now they do) via @ek.

There's also a handful of bug fixes that aren't worth mentioning.

@ek and I have been spending most of our time on wallet stuff and we should have some releases around that soon. After we get the wallet to a certain point we'll go hard on all the other stuff we've been neglecting.

tested the remind bot, pretty cool! is it possible to remind others too?

e.g. @ek often forgot something, it would be cool if can @ a bot to remind him. 👀

reply

That'd be pretty easy to abuse. Maybe remind yourself to remind him? :)

reply

good hack.

@remindme in 1 month to remind @ek to build the image frame 🤣

reply

@remindme in 29 days to build the image frame

reply

so that you will build it within one day? 👀

reply

Maybe 👀

reply

@remindme in 29 days that @ek will build it within 1 day

Imaging if you build a ~oracle bot to be able to bet, then me betting @ek won't build it within 1 day, 1000 sats. 👀

You really couldn’t wait to test it out haha

reply

Gotta be proactive in life.

reply

Remind me bot is a great addition. Can't wait to test this out.

reply

@WeAreAllSatoshi, I wanted to review your code especially to check for this but I haven’t so far, so sorry to not mention this earlier:

Does it also work for past @remindme usage?

reply

As in, does it search for RemindMe bot mentions prior to this release and retroactively schedule reminders for them? No, it does not.

reply

Yes

I think that would be cool 👀

I can create a ticket

reply

That would be cool. You’d want to only schedule reminders if they haven’t already passed, which I’m sure is true for some. And I guess you can use the last updated at timestamp for the base time.

Cool idea!

reply

congrats devs!

What is the syntax?

reply

I got lazy, my bad

@remindme in XX (second|minute|hour|day|month|year)[s]

@remindme in 1 day to remind everyone that @IamSINGLE. Haha..namaste

I think a @repost bot would be a valuable addition to the platform. It could be implemented with a fee and a daily limit to ensure responsible usage.
