I’m guessing it’ll be in the next deployment, and @k00b will announce it in the next SN Release post, as new features are usually announced.

Hm, that's annoying. That will result in many users seeing personal reminder of one user. It takes space and is useless comment for other people if it only includes the reminder.
Or is the implementation done differently than a bot that I gave to @ ?

It also helps to promote the feature so other users can learn of its existence 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, it's probably ok to start with it, but when users start overusing it, then it would be better to make that a native feature in the SN UI - e.g. in the tripledot dropdown menu.
