No state that seeks control of its population can allow itself to adopt bitcoin. Indeed China and Russia have stated already that they are pursuing the imposition of a CBDC, which is already in effect in China. Even USA politicians have proposed a CBDC.
Bitcoin adoption will not come from political decision within a tyranny.

So far I see that distinction was the very reason Bitcoin was created in the first place. It's a given. Reaching adoption within that context is our challenge.
