My mother faced many injustices in her life, but she never let them defeat her. I admire her patience, kindness, and resilience.

Now that we have a kid of our own, my favorite thing about my mom is how much she earnestly loves little kids. She's endlessly delighted by all of my daughter's antics and games.

ya i have a similar appreciation to give. like most parents, i love my daughter to the point of absurdity . the only person that can relate, outside of my wife, to this feeling and also feels pretty similar about my daughter is my mom. i really have an appreciation for people that let themselves enjoy a kid that much.

From my earliest memories, she was my safe haven and my comfort zone. Whether I was dealing with silly childhood nightmares or legit adult struggles, she was always there - a rock-solid pillar of strength and unconditional love. Just having her around was enough to reassure me that no matter how crazy things got, I wasn't alone.

I was always partial to her bringing me into this world. 🤣
My mom has an amazing spirit. She'll ride any rollercoaster with you and did the zip line Sky dive deal off the Las Vegas Stratosphere when she was over 60 years old. Her 18 year old grandson was there an wouldn't do it. She said "live a little Grandson!" As she freefell away. LOL

I know it's maybe a cop out to not say a reason but, I think for me it's simply just having one. I genuinely know some people who don't have a family, or have never had contact or support from one. Just feel it's under looked when you here folk say 'fam is number one' I guess it is but, we kind of tend to forget the difficulties some people go through without a mom.

oh you wanna read my mom poem? oh okay, here you go:
Stubbornly scooping M&M’s from the floor,
I learned my mother’s toughness.
Now it is mine.
Waking to her sing-song charades,
I paraded in mom’s silliness
Of which my own is an echo.
Digging my hands in the dirt,
I memorized a catalog of flowers
And weeds as she spoke them to me.
Plinking songs on piano keys,
Spending all day outside,
Having some sense of sports,
A satisfaction from scrapbooks,
Sneaking seconds of sweets,
Hunting through cheap antiques,
Her lessons are lived
Through her spirit, her voice,
In her touch, by her strength.
There’s no friend like my mother.
Her life is signified in mine,
A gentle reminder of her presence.

I love the broom beating of from my mother the most.
TBH, I was very naughty in my childhood and my mother used to beat me with a broom. At that time I couldn't understand but now I feel that was the most lovable thing she did. I miss that broom for I'm now more undisciplined. I ask my mother (humbly) to give me a beating but she now says that you don't need a beating on body but you need it on your mund now.
I must say, I'm what I'm for every bit because of my mother.
If you ask me for what I love my mother or for what anyone should love his mother, I would have only one reply 'You can only love your mother for anything and everything, you can't even say that you won't love her for this or that. Mothers are real God on the Earth.
Love you mom!
Respect to all mothers everywhere.

My mom loves to laugh. Her whole family would roast each other to no end and giggle the whole way through. All moments were an opportunity to laugh. It's easy to get bogged down it life's big and little miseries, and we had so many of them, but humor let us look down the barrel of the gun and dodge its bullets.
