Our government always abuses and has abused. I'mbso glad you have become aware. Welcome to the revelation. It is actually nice to see folks seeing what my people have always seen about this government.
I would say just don't go too far in the opposite direction. Two, or more seemingly opposite things can all be true, at the same time. Both sides are lying. You know this, right? Don't be blind to one out of spite for the other.

That's why I asked who you think I'm siding with. Basically, all I've said is that I don't believe Congress and I'm not going to give them the benefit of the doubt.
However bad the CCP is, they aren't the ones oppressing me (at least not directly). That's why I focus on opposing the US government.
