Given congress's track record with this stuff, when did we start taking their word for anything?
It honestly shouldn't matter what China says. The burden of proof needs to be on congress to demonstrate that something is a serious threat before they ban it. They deserve less than zero benefit of the doubt.

You want a transparency that will not exist. Many times to demonstrate a threat is to let the enemy know how you know.
You do understand our government will not do that, right? And how would you demonstrate that their government spies. The fact that ours does is enough for me to infer theirs does.

It sounds like you've chosen to side with the technology banners in the deep state, while I've just said they should have to prove their case before banning freedom of association.
