How do you like the TWSBI?
I felt like it wrote too wet.
What is the red one? Sailor or pilot?

TWSBI needs to be wet to make up for the scratchy.

Their nib is not as smooth as others.
I really like pilot nibs.
Bach also made a bunch of good nibs.
The vintage nibs are best, though.
I dont know what it is, maybe the metal composite is better, but they write a lot smoother and are more flexible.

Oh, yes. There used to be a guy in New Hampshire that fixed, ground and smoothed nibs. I think he retired. Richard Bender. His wife wrote the most awesome notes on vintage post cards.

It is a dying trade. I know there are some guys who grind nibs at the pen shows.
