Very strange, especially since they just signed Cousins. That’s a lot of draft capital for a guy who will be sitting on the bench for the next four years.
You guys are rolling with AOC and running the ball and playing 2 tight end sets every down.
I like Bowers. I just think it's silly to take a TE this early. They pretty much have to be a top 5 TE in the league right away for it to be worthwhile.
Kingsley is enticing but I think he was too much of a project for them. If Rosengarten was available they might not have traded back but Ravens took him.
Of course the 49ers traded two 5th round picks to get an additional 4th round pick and pick a running back they don't need. And then take another slot receiver later in the round. Kyle is going to Kyle.
I'm a lot happier with the Chargers taking a left tackle than a great receiver. Maxx and Wilkins usually line up on the right, so Herbert's still going to be in trouble..
@Undisciplined overall the Raiders draft was solid. Totally telegraphed the style they're going to. Oline Oline Oline, run the ball, smash mouth football. Laube is a great pick up.
I wonder if you've got your eyes set on one of the QBs next year, shadeur sanders for example? Although you could have had rattler at 148 before the saints got him at 150.
I was really happy with the day 3 picks and JPJ is a born Raider.
Even if I never think they made the right 1st round pick, I am excited to see what Bowers can do. It will be hard not to compare it to what might have been, though: JPJ and Fuaga on the right side of the line.
How do you feel about Days 2 and 3 for the Vikings?
I think they're setting the stage. Buying the land first a building the foundations before putting the house on it. Went heavy on the oline investment. I think raiders have signalled. We're building and coming for our QB next off-season. Then they coming for the league. That defense an oline giving time, ooooffff you might just have yourselves a stew going.
I think our day 3 was alright, I'm stoked about khyree Jackson, he's a helluva CB. Then came after a backup tackle and a center, that's cool. The kicker pick was a bit of a head scratcher. Kickers are a dime a dozen down the seven eleven, but this kid is record holding, so sure, let's see what's up, it was only a 6th anyway.
I'd have liked to have addressed DT sooner than the 7th, but here we are and I think Rodriguez can be a great rotational piece with lots of development.
You must be watching, right?
Did you get all your snacks ready?
Is your party as big as the superbowl?
Maybe I should turn on the radio and see what they say lol
Woah Penix at 8?
Very strange, especially since they just signed Cousins. That’s a lot of draft capital for a guy who will be sitting on the bench for the next four years.
;)
Raiders pick is going to be interesting.
Fingers crossed for Fuaga
Hopefully they don't take Brock Bowers. Haha
Ooops cursed you.
You bastard!
What the hell? We took the top TE prospect last year too. That’s not something we needed at all.
You guys are rolling with AOC and running the ball and playing 2 tight end sets every down.
I like Bowers. I just think it's silly to take a TE this early. They pretty much have to be a top 5 TE in the league right away for it to be worthwhile.
He was the best player available. Good pick. You will like him
Bastard cursed you
OMG
OMG
Cousins contract is two years guaranteed
Bad pick especially at 8
Black left handed QB named Michael
view on x.comKirk's contract has 2 years guaranteed money on it. It implies he's starting for at least those 2 years.
Penix is 24, means he'll be 26 before he gets a real starting opportunity (assumption is that ATL plays Kirk like the money suggests).
I kinda wanted penix, but I think overall ATL isn't a bad landing spot for him.
I don't hate Pearsall but I don't like him when Johnny Newton, JPJ and Kool Aid are still on the board.
JPJ!
Awesome pick. Damn the CBs are flying off the board.
And almost a dozen WRs already
I don’t think they wanted to go CB here. I think they had to because so many went off the board.
I was just about to ask. It looks like you could have gotten a tackle, if you had kept the pick.
Kingsley is enticing but I think he was too much of a project for them. If Rosengarten was available they might not have traded back but Ravens took him.
Looks like you got someone for the O-Line.
Of course the 49ers traded two 5th round picks to get an additional 4th round pick and pick a running back they don't need. And then take another slot receiver later in the round. Kyle is going to Kyle.
49ers going after guys who are versatile, have a ton of college games under their belt and stayed healthy. They have a type. Haha
What do you think of Raiders 3rd rounder?
Not sure yet. We’re having a hell of a time trying to get our kid to go to sleep tonight.
It looks like the right kind of player, but I need to look into it more.
Steelers got Frazier. I was hoping he might fall to 63 but 49ers probably wouldn’t take a C anyways.
I'm here, listening to a Raiders live stream and watching the show.
When do you think the first trade will be?
Next couple are pretty likely spots
I think we will see a trade in top 10.
Alt is my first miss
I had Maye going 2 and Daniels 3. I didn't think Peters would go for a running QB but I guess Daniels was too promising to pass up.
I'm a lot happier with the Chargers taking a left tackle than a great receiver. Maxx and Wilkins usually line up on the right, so Herbert's still going to be in trouble..
Wow I had Latham at 20
Harbaugh wants to run the ball first. Alt made a lot of sense but they definitely need a WR.
Slater or Alt will move right
I’m actually happy with this pick.
We still need receivers who can separate
Surprisingly happy with the Jets here -- they got a solid OL and good mid-round picks by trading down.
I wish the Raiders GM had thought of that.
I like how this is potentially shaping up for the 49ers actually being able to get OL at 31 and if they are all gone there should be a solid DL or CB.
Yes solid trade and pick.
COWBOYS!
Didn't know you were a Cowboys fan. And here I thought I liked you. Haha jk.
I just assumed he was a Titans guy.
No! Do like the Preds and Nashville SC, though and can't wait until we get a baseball team.
Me too.
Tennessee transplant
Third gen. My daddy and granddaddy were from Dallas.
I'm used to haters. LOL
and losing in the playoffs!
Cowboys have a national fan base
America team in the 1970s

At least you have a good track record drafting kickers: we're enjoying Daniel Carlson tremendously. Thanks for giving up on him way too early.
Is J.J. going to be the day 1 starter at QB?
You must be watching, right? Did you get all your snacks ready? Is your party as big as the superbowl? Maybe I should turn on the radio and see what they say lol
Damn Arnold at 24 is a steal. @tnuts420 must be pleased.
most definitely! but i already learned my lesson second guessing brad holmes, the man knows what he's doing
NFC North is going to be wild in the years to come. Detroit really showed out. That was impressive.
Michael Penix or Vick
Byron Murphy to the Seagulls. Don't like that.
That was wild!
Little pricey coming up to 17 trading with the jags but Dallas turner is a great pick.
